Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson is set for Bosman talks with AS Roma before the weekend.

The Mirror says Italian sources state Johnson will touch down in Italy within the next 48 hours to hold talks with Roma.

The English full-back's current Anfield deal will expire at the end of the season and he looks unlikely to be given a renewal after he rejected the club's last contract offer.

Johnson joined Liverpool from Portsmouth in 2009 in a deal worth an estimated £17m.
