Former Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup is favourite for the QPR job.

Chairman Tony Fernandes revealed on Twitter last night he was close to ending his search for a replacement for Harry Redknapp.

The Daily Star says Laudrup made a big impression on Fernandes when he was interviewed for the Loftus Road vacancy.

Laudrup is on a one-year deal with Lekhwiya in Qatar.
