Jaime Penedo has been named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 6.
The LA Galaxy goalkeeper starred in his side's 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders on Sunday, making 10 saves as the reigning champions got the better of their Western Conference rivals.
Panama international Penedo, 33, came up with some world-class saves to give the Galaxy their second shutout of the 2015 season and his performance was not lost on journalists from the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) who voted him the best player for the sixth week of the campaign.
