Southampton boss Ronald Koeman accepts some of his stars will leave this summer.
The likes of Jay Rodriguez, Morgan Schneiderlin and Nathaniel Clyne are all wanted by bigger clubs.
"We can't keep everybody," says Koeman. "It's about money, it's about contracts. We know our level. We know it's difficult, impossible sometimes, to have a really good fight with a big one.
"The big teams have big money and can offer better contracts. We have a top wage in our club and we don't pass that.
"We don't need to sell. It's all about the bids of other clubs, what they really like to pay. If you are doing well there is always interest but all the players have a contract for next season and until now there is not any serious bid."
