Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has taken a dig at Premier League defences.

The former Manchester United, West Ham United and Manchester City striker says it's far more difficult scoring in Serie A.

"It is much easier to score in the Premier League, where the ball does not stop, the game is everywhere and midfield does not exist," the 31-year-old told La Repubblica.

"Here you see a striker against five defenders, it is much more difficult than in England.

"The Italian league is of a high standard."
