Stevan Jovetic insists he wants to stay with Manchester City.

The striker has been linked with AS Roma and Inter Milan following City's £30 million swoop for Swansea City centre-forward Wilfried Bony.

However, Jovetic is adamant he wants to stick with City.

"I never wanted to leave," the 25-year old former Fiorentina star declared.

"I still have a lot to prove and many goals to score."
