Injured Kayal ok says Celtic boss

Beram Kayal's ankle injury is not as bad as initially feared according to Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

The Israeli midfielder had to be stretchered off late in last night's 1-0 win over Rangers following a challenge involving Lee McCulloch but Lennon has revealed he is ok after receiving a very heavy knock to his ankle.

"Kayal is okay, he caught his ankle a little bit in a full-blooded challenge," Lennon said.

"We're hoping he should be fit for Dunfermline on Monday.

"I thought Kayal was magnificent, a real catalyst for a lot of good stuff. He broke up the play, got us playing."
