IK Start defender Clarence Goodson has been given permission to link up with the USA squad for next week's match against El Salvador.
The 27-year old is the only foreign-based player in Bob Bradley's 23-man squad for the friendly in Tampa, Florida and comes to Los Angeles after his Norwegian club allowed him to go on international duty.
Goodson scored the only goal in the USA's 3-1 loss to Honduras last month and has scored twice in eight international matches.
