Hull City have pulled back from talks for Doncaster Rovers fullback James Husband.
The Hull Daily Mail says reports surfaced yesterday to suggest that City had begun talks with Doncaster over the sale of Husband, but manager Steve Bruce is instead thought to be targeting a new arrival ready made for the Premier League.
Although Husband, 20, has been identified as a player with significant promise by City's scouting team following a bright season in the Championship, the preference is to sign an experienced figure to fill that role.
