Chris Hughton is on the shortlist at West Ham United.
The Sunday Express says Hughton could be offered a swift return to Premier League management with West Ham United.
The Hammers' patience with current manager Avram Grant is running thin after the club were beaten 3-1 at home yesterday to leave them rooted to the bottom of the table.
Co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan believe they have backed former Chelsea and Portsmouth boss Grant to the hilt since hiring him in the summer. But a failure to stop the slide to the bottom of the league has left the pair wondering whether to change things. If they axe Grant, then Hughton - fired by Newcastle last week - would find himself high on the short list.
