Marek Hamsik admits he struggled last season with Napoli.
The midfielder, however, insists he's prepared to fight for his place in coach Rafa Benitez's plans.
"Yes I admit it, I was expecting more," Hamsik told Pluska.
"But the result of the team is more important. We came third in the League and we won the Coppa Italia.
"Unfortunately my season was shaped by an injury, which ended my good run of form.
"In the final I was revived. Now I am focused on next season, we want to do even better.
"Leaving Napoli? That has never entered my head."
