Sky Sports is reporting that Zoltan Gera is poised to sign a new deal to stay at West Bromwich Albion. The 34-year-old Hungarian, who is still working his way back to full fitness after suffering a cruciate knee injury in January, is believed to have impressed Baggies boss Steve Clarke during pre-season.

Clarke is now ready to hand the former Fulham man a new one-year deal.
