Former Tottenham boss Redknapp: I have had offers from abroad

Harry Redknapp has revealed he has had offers from clubs abroad and insists he would be interested in managing again if the right position came up.

The 65-year old, who is currently working in an advisory role at Bournemouth, was released by Tottenham during the summer but admits he would like to one day return to the coaching caper.

"I am enjoying it(the current role) and if something good comes along that interested me, I'd be interested in getting back in again," said Redknapp.

"It would have to be something I'd really want to do. I wouldn't just dive in and take any job for the sake of it.

"I worked with good players the last eight or nine years or so and enjoyed it so that is where I would want to be.

"I've had offers from abroad - quite a few good offers from decent clubs abroad - but they've not really interested me so I've not sort of done anything with any of them."

And Redknapp also suggested that he may even be interested in managing a national team other than England after he was overlooked for Roy Hodgson recently.

"I would consider it, if it was the right job, yeah," he added.

"If it was something where you had the chance to be successful and do well with that team, wherever it would be, I would be interested, but who knows?

"You can never say never. You never know in this game."
