The A-League's in-form striker Bruce Djite expects to be fit for Gold Coast United this weekend.
Gold Coast take on league leaders Adelaide United at Skilled Park on Sunday and Djite, who is nursing an ankle tendon injury, is confident he will be fit for the vital clash.
''I will be okay for the Adelaide match. The injection has calmed things down a lot and it's obviously a game I don't want to miss," he told the Gold Coast Bulletin.
''The injury has been troubling me for a little while and it needed to be looked at.''
Djite has scored three goals in his past two matches, culminating in a brace in the 3-1 win over Wellington Phoenix last weekend, and he is hopeful he can continue that brilliant form.
''It was about time. Hopefully there will be plenty more to follow," he added.
