Fiorentina have denied reports of a deal for Boca Juniors defender Ezequiel Munoz.

It was claimed on Friday that Fiorentina had struck terms for the Argentine.

But in a statement, the Serie A club declared: "ACF Fiorentina deny the news, which appeared this morning in some newspapers, related to the purchase of defender Munoz."
