Fed-up West Ham midfielder Noble to declare for Republic of Ireland

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble is ready to declare for the Republic of Ireland.

Noble was overlooked by England coach Roy Hodgson for his new Euro2016 qualifying squad.

The Daily Mail says Noble is understood to have run out of patience of an England call-up and is prepared to sign recruitment forms for Martin O'Neill.

Noble, who is eligible for Ireland through his Cork-born grandparents, has been on O'Neill's radar since he became manager last November. He represented England at all under-age levels and captained the Under 21 team to the finals of the 2009 European Championships.

According to sources close to Noble, the West Ham Player of the Year last season is now ready to accept O'Neill's invitation to join the Irish set-up.
