FA CUP 3rd ROUND: Everton grab late equaliser against West Ham

Tuesday night's FA Cup third round fixtures have both forced replays following dramatic draws.

In the all-Premier League affair, Everton produced an injury-time leveler to force a 1-1 draw with West Ham United at Goodison Park.

The Hammers deservedly took the lead in the 56th minute when central defender James Collins got free in the box to head home but Romelu Lukaku came up with a last-gasp goal in the 91st minute to ease the pressure mounting on Toffees boss Roberto Martinez.

Everton will now head to Upton Park for a replay to decide who will meet the victor of the Doncaster Rovers v Bristol City rerun.

The clash between League One rivals Scunthorpe United and Chesterfield also ended in a draw with the Spireites netting twice at death to set up a home meeting with the Iron.

First-half goals from Alex Davey and Lyle Taylor had the home side in a good position at Glanford Park but a 71st-minute penalty from star striker Eoin Doyle and a Jay O'Shea equaliser five minutes from time forced a replay for Paul Cook's men.

The winner of the Chesterfield v Scunthorpe meeting will take on Derby County at iPro Stadium in the fourth round on the weekend of January 24/25.
