Rangers midfielder Steven Davis has urged club owner Craig Whyte to give manager Ally McCoist some transfer cash for winter.
The Glasgow giants are chasing a fourth straight Scottish Premier League title and Davis feels some reinforcements, particularly in attack, would assist them greatly from January onwards.
"The biggest thing for us is that, perhaps, we rely too heavily on certain people to score goals like Jela (Nikica Jelavic) and Laff (Kyle Lafferty), or Naisy (Steven Naismith) when he was fit. We need to spread it throughout the team or the manager needs to bring someone in to boost the attacking options.
"I include myself in that because I think midfielders need to chip in with more goals.
"Hopefully, the manager gets the funds to bring in fresh faces.""I think you are always looking to add to the squad and hopefully the manager gets funds to do that," said the former Aston Villa and Fulham man.
