Javan Vidal is holding discussions with Hibernian regarding a move to the Edinburgh club this summer.
The former Manchester City defender, who left Eastlands at the end of last season when his deal expired, has told skysports.com that there is interest from several clubs with Hibs being one of them.
"I'm in negotiations with two clubs at the minute that I can name and a few others that I can't disclose, so interest has started to pick up a little," he said.
"I'm talking to Hibernian from the SPL and a team in Turkey called Denizlispor, but there are a few League One clubs as well, but I can't name them at the moment.
"I'd be welcome to any offers to be honest because it is all about getting out there and playing regular football again."
During his time with Man City, 22-year old Vidal had loan spells with Grimsby Town, Aberdeen, Derby County and Chesterfield and also represented England at U20 level in 2009.
