Ex-Colorado Rapids midfielder Noonan signs with Seattle Sounders

Former Colorado Rapids midfielder Pat Noonan has signed with the Seattle Sounders.

The 29-year old was released by the Rapids last week and was reported to be training with DC United although there was interest from the Sounders.

Now that interest has become official with the Sounders snaring him after a short trial.

Noonan began his professional career in 2002 with the Mid Michigan Bucks before joining the New England Revolution in 2003 where he remained until 2008.

He then moved to Norway to join Aalesunds BK where he spent about half a year before returning to MLS with Columbus Crew and then spending a season with the Rapids.
