Former Chelsea head scout Lee Congleton is being lined up to replace Dan Ashworth at West Bromwich Albion.
Ashworth left his role as sporting and technical director at The Hawthorns to take up the director of elite development with the Football Association recently and Sky Sports suggests that Congleton is at the front of the queue.
Congleton worked in recruitment with Chelsea and now works alongside Frank Arnesen at German club Hamburg but could be making his way back to England with Tottenham also showing interest in bringing him to White Hart Lane as their possible technical director.
