Everton striker Louis Saha will miss France's international friendly with Spain on Wednesday.

A thigh injury will keep the in-form goalscorer out of the Stade de France clash after medical tests at Les Bleus' training ground at the Clairefontaine declared him unfit.

Panathinaikos' Djibril Cisse has been called into replace Saha who will not join fellow Premier League stars Patrice Evra (Manchester United), Bacary Sagna (Arsenal), Nicolas Anelka and Florent Malouda (both Chelsea) in the squad to take on world number one Spain.
