Everton boss David Moyes is being urged to seriously consider a move to Schalke.
Ex-Nottingham Forest European Cup winner Tony Woodcock, who played in Germany for Koln, believes Moyes should seize the opportunity if Schalke come calling.
He told the Sunday Express: "It would be the perfect club for most managers.
"You get 70,000 every game in a fantastic stadium. You'd get 20,000 there just watching the shirts dry.
"They are so passionate about their football club. It's like Newcastle United.
"David Moyes has done a fantastic job at Everton. This might be a really good time to branch out.
"They need a solid manager. It's all ifs and buts, but why not?
"When you've been at a club for many years, as a manager or even as a player, sometimes you need a fresh start to get your brain going and ticking in different directions."
