Club Brugge fullback Thomas Meunier is a confirmed target for Napoli.

Meunier has been re-tweeting stories linking him with a transfer to the Stadio San Paolo.

"We know that Napoli are closely following him, but no negotiations have started at club level," managing director Vincent Mannaert told Sport.be.

Agent Didier Frenay also added that "Napoli are interested, just like half the Bundesliga and half the Premier League.

"Thomas has what it takes to go a step up the ladder, but that does not mean a transfer is guaranteed. Everything is still possible, even a contract extension."
