Chelsea winger Florent Malouda rates Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney as "unstoppable".

Malouda admits Rooney has every defender running scared but is adamant the striker's brilliance will not be enough to deprive Chelsea of their first championship since 2006.

When asked if Rooney is unstoppable, Malouda told Sky Sports: "I think he is. Right now he feels the goal and is full of confidence. He can score at any time and is a constant threat to any defence. Any team will find it hard to stop him.

"But we don't fear anyone. We have been on top of the League for a long time. Now they're in front but I think we can stop them.

"We have beaten them already in the League this season and will go to Old Trafford to beat them again."
