Chelsea are getting closer to the capture of Mauro Icardi. Reports suggest that the Blues are set to offer around £22million for the striker who has scored 20 goals for Inter Milan in Serie A this season.

The Nerazzurri were hoping to tie down Icardi last month but he is aware that newly-crowned Premier League champions Chelsea are keen on his services.

It is believed that the Blues are waiting for Icardi to decide whether or not he will remain at the San Siro or leave in the summer.
