Porto midfielder Fernando is in the sights of Chelsea.
Sky Italia says Chelsea are set to beat the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan for the midfielder, who enjoyed great success under Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas last season.
Porto want €15 million for Fernando, which is too rich for Juve and Inter, but well within Chelsea's transfer budget.
Nicknamed the 'Octopus' for his ability to retrieve possession, Fernando would arrive at Chelsea as a direct replacement for crocked midfielder Michael Essien.
