Birmingham City haven't shelved their pursuit of Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia.

Brum have already signed Nikola Zigic (Valencia), Ben Foster (Manchester United) and Enric Valles (NAC Breda) since the end of the season.

The Times says with manager Alex McLeish on the verge of signing a new contract - his advisers are hoping to finalise the deal with Peter Pannu, the vice-president at St Andrew's, by the weekend - Birmingham remain in the hunt to sign N'Zogbia, the Wigan Athletic winger, for about £8m.
