BT Sport, which launched in the UK on Thursday evening, has announced it will broadcast two Liverpool FC pre-season games in the coming weeks, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The new channel, which is being offered free to BT broadband customers, will show live coverage of Liverpool's game with Valerenga in Oslo on 7th August and a match against Scottish champions Celtic on 10th August.

BT has previously confirmed it will broadcast Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's testimonial game versus Olympiacos on Saturday, while Liverpool's Premier League opener against Stoke will be the channel's first live competitive game as part of the 38-match package it acquired last year.
