Brescia striker Eder admits he was close to a move to Lazio in the summer.

Eder was a wanted man before the start of the 2010-11 campaign after bagging 27 goals for Empoli last term.

"I can confirm that Lazio, who are a great side, went after me," he said.

"It is also pleasing that Lazio boss Edy Reja has said some important things about me recently."
