Manchester United have had an approach for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski rejected.
Suddeutsche Zeitung says both United and beaten Champions League finalists Bayern Munich have had offers for the Poland international turned down by Dortmund.
Both bids fell short of BVB's valuation, with the German champions reluctant to lose the striker.
Lewandowski revealed last week the interest of United.
