Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba is hoping to gatecrash England's World Cup party.
Muamba was one of England Under-21s' top performers in the summer as Stuart Pearce's men surged to the European Championship final.
Muamba, 21, still has aspirations of breaking into the full England set-up before Fabio Capello names his squad for South Africa.
And the former Arsenal man is desperate to follow in the footsteps of Aston Villa pair James Milner and Gabby Agbonlahor.
Muamba said: "I never get jealous of the boys who have stepped up to the full set-up. They have done extremely well to get up there.
"It just goes to show that if you are playing well, Mr Capello is willing to give everybody a chance and it's great they've done that.
"We all see how well the likes of Milner, Agbonlahor, Joe Hart and Tom Huddlestone have done and it shows we've all got a chance."
