Notts County goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is set to return to the Premiership.

The Daily Mail says Schmeichel has agreed terms to tear up his contract at Notts County at the end of the season sparking a transfer scramble including Birmingham and Tottenham.

The former Manchester City keeper will turn his back on the remaining four years of his deal at Meadow Lane in return for a free transfer as the club are unable to maintain his £14,00 a week wages.
