David Beckham and Landon Donovan are expected to play for LA Galaxy in their final regular season match on the weekend.
The star pair missed last weekend's 2-2 draw with San Jose Earthquakes because of injury and did not travel to El Salvador for the midweek CONCACAF Champions League clash with Isidro Metapan.
However, Galaxy assistant Dave Sarachan confirmed that both Beckham and Donovan will be considered for the home meeting with Western Conference rivals Seattle Sounders ahead of the 2012 MLS playoff series.
"The hope is that they will be available for Sunday's game against Seattle," said Sarachan.
"Obviously, we've got the time now to go it at a tempo that makes sense for them, in terms of their return. If we can continue to ramp them up this week and get them minutes Sunday, we think that they will be in a position to now perform [in the playoffs] at a high level for 90 minutes."
