Barcelona are stepping up their interest in Brescia youngster Bartosz Salamon.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola identified the young Pole as one to watch when visiting his former club at the end of last season.

And now Barca are bringing forward plans to sign Salamon after being tipped off about rival interest from AC Milan and Napoli.

Brescia chief Gianluca Nani rates Salamon in the same class as Napoli star Marek Hamsik when he was first breaking through at the Serie B outfit.
