Barcelona defender Gerard Pique's poor season continued on Saturday against Sporting Gijon.

Pique was sent off in the 3-1 win and admits he sought out the ref at halftime before the red card.

"During the break I told the referee that Keita's incident was a penalty. I have the feeling of premeditation," he said after the match.

Pique is at loggerheads with coach Pep Guardiola, who is unhappy with the defender's form this season and dropped him for their Champions League win at Bayer Leverkusen last month.
