Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole. Cole has been linked with Barca ahead of the January market and Sport says Guardiola will move for the England ace should Eric Abidal choose to leave.

Abidal is off contract in June and yet to agree terms over a new deal.

Barca would hope to do business with Chelsea for £12 million, though Roberto Carlos' Anzhi are also interested.
