Atletico Madrid are planning a £6 million bid for Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia.

Atletico chiefs have decided to move for the Argentine in January to head off growing interest across Europe, including from Barcelona and Inter Milan.

The arrival of Biglia will mean Atletico having to offload one of their non-Europeans and it's expected Brazilian midfielder Cleber Santana will be made available after failing to make an impact since his summer arrival.
