James Troisi is looking to get his career back on track during his spell with Melbourne Victory.
The 25-year old winger is on a season-long loan with the Victory from Italian club Atalanta and is hoping to following the footsteps of current skipper Mark Milligan and former attacking players Robbie Kruse and Marco Rojas.
"'Millsy' (Milligan) is making a good mark in his position," Troisi told the Herald Sun.
"He was in my shoes a few years ago, he wasn't playing regularly, he came here and it's done wonders for him.
"You look at Robbie Kruse and Marco Rojas, they've gone from here straight to Europe and done really well.
"So it's (the A-League) improving and Europe now sees it as a decent league."
The former Kayserispor man added: "For me it's about playing regularly and getting my football back on track and this is a good opportunity."
