Melbourne Victory have confirmed the signing of James Troisi on a one-year deal loan deal.
The 25-year old attacking midfielder has joined the A-League club from Italian outfit Atalanta for the 2013/14 season, delighting head coach Ange Postecoglou.
"Throughout his time in Europe, James has shown that he has the talent and attributes to compete at the highest levels of club football," Postecoglou said.
"At just 25, James is in the prime of his career, so we are extremely excited about what he will bring to Melbourne Victory.
"He obvious has a desire to get back into the Socceroos set-up, and there's no better way to state his case than to have an impressive A-League season."
Troisi started his senior career with Newcastle United back in 2007 and has since spent time in Turkey with Genclerbirligi and Kayserispor prior to his 2012 shift to Atalanta.
