Aston Villa have joined the race for Cardiff City youngster Adam Matthews.
The Sun says Villa boss Martin O'Neill will launch a £2million bid for Cardiff's fullback Matthews.
O'Neill is ready to step up his interest in right-back Matthews, 18, in an effort to beat off competition from Arsenal and Manchester United.
