Tim Krul is focused on starting the season fully fit for Newcastle United - not Arsenal.
The 25-year-old remains focused on the Magpies' Premier League curtain-raiser away to Manchester City on Monday, August 19.
He said: "I will be fit for the first game of the season.
"I'll try to get a couple of friendly games to get myself fully up to speed - and I'm right on schedule."
