Arsenal skipper Thomas Vermaelen admits they're a better team when Theo Walcott is playing.

Vermaelen says Walcott's pace makes the difference for the Gunners in attack.

"As for Theo, from him we know what he can bring us. He is so quick and keeps the field wide and long, with which he can take the opponent apart.

"Often, this is exactly what you need in a game, long balls to give the sprinters. Theo brings that," said Vermaelen.
