Arsenal's Park has South Korea army duties delayed by decade

Arsenal striker Park Chu-young has had his compulsory military service postponed by 10 years.

The 26-year old South Korea national team star, who was set to serve in the army either this year or next, has been told he can put off his service until 2022.

South Korea's Military Manpower Administration said Park's 10-year residency visa from Monaco allows him to delay his duties.

Park joined the Gunners from French club AS Monaco last summer and has scored one goal in four appearances for the North London club.
