Tottenham have upped their bid for Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen.
With Arsenal breathing down their necks, Spurs have tabled an improved offer of €12.6 million for the Belgian.
It still falls short of Ajax's €15 million valuation, though the proposal is heavily laden with bonuses.
