LA Galaxy coach Bruce Arena has indicated that David Beckham should be available for Wednesday night's CONCACAF Champions League clash with Alajuelense.
The 36-year old midfielder did not make the trip to Mexico last week to take on Monarcas Morelia but after playing almost 80 minutes of the league win over Vancouver Whitecaps on the weekend, Arena says he should be fine for the Costa Rica fixture.
"You have to just see your players react after every game and the lead up to that game, as well as whether or not they're up to playing," Arena said.
"In David's case, we think that he's in much better shape this week than last week, so we think that he's capable of playing."
The Galaxy currently sit second in Group A, equal on points with first-placed Morelia and third-placed Alajuelense, with goal difference separating the three sides. Honduran outfit Motagua are on the bottom without a point from three matches.
