The agent of Torino defender Angelo Obinze Ogbonna and Lazio midfielder Modibo Diakite has confirmed the interest of Arsenal.

"The Italian scout for Arsenal, Tony Banfield, called me to get information on the two boys. The interest in Ogbonna is not new, they have followed him in Turin and Palermo, while that for Diakite is newer, so much so that the same Banfield joined me to watch Lazio and Juventus," said Ulisse Savini.

"Let it be clear that I speak of interest, and no concrete offer, which has never arrived to me and I do not think even the players' clubs have heard from them."

Savini also revealed that West Ham were keen on Ogbonna.
