AC Milan offer Ancelotti new contract incentive

Carlo Ancelotti left his meeting with AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani this week feeling better about his future at the San Siro.

The summit lasted an hour as Ancelotti sought assurances from Galliani, while also coming clean over any offers his representatives may have received.

It was agreed that Ancelotti would continue next season if he guided Milan into the top three - and would also be offered a new contract during the first-half of next term.

There is also agreement over this summer's transfer policy, which will involve two major signings while also seeking to balance the books.
