AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes hailed the performance of Jack Bonaventura after victory over Napoli.

The winger struck in Sunday's win.

Mexes said: "Jack Bonaventura deserves all the praise for what he's doing. He's a great lad, I love his attitude and I admire him.

"It's pleasing to keep a clean sheet, thanks also to Diego Lopez, but our strikers help the defence too. It's that team spirit that makes us stronger.

"We all get along and there is healthy competition for places. That's the way to go far. Even in front of defeats, we react together. Of course, it's much easier to look forward to the next game after a victory."
