AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has defended this season's campaign.

Galliani was speaking after their defeat to Juventus.

"We changed the whole team in the summer, last Sunday only Christian Abbiati and Ignazio Abate were in the squad last year .

"When you make a change so radical it is normal to have difficulty at the beginning, in fact I think that to be in the top four after a poor first eight games is a great achievement."
